There Was No Shoving On The Subway This Morning
I took a nearly empty subway train in to work this morning at the usual time.
There were no angst filled masses at Omotesando Station forcing themselves into already filled cars.
There were seats any where you pleased.
I sit now in a darkened office building. Waiting to connect with colleagues from afar over Skype.

Back To Tokyo, For Now...
We left Osaka this morning at 6:23 am and caught a high speed train back to Tokyo. There are some errands that require us to physically be in Tokyo, so we thought we’d make a break for it, and then evaluate the situation again from there.

Greetings from Japan.
It has been a tumultuous, multi-event filled series of days.
Due to the scarcity of information surrounding the aftermath of the earthquake, I have traveled to Osaka, to the southwest of Tokyo. From here I will watch the news and look for more information.
